Talking with Ding Yue is fun.
On Order and Chaos:
"but u know, when everything boils down to probability and uncertainty, and somehow the universe came into existence due to certain random collisions and reactions that are just one possible configuration of the many possible configurations, i start to wonder if this chaos, uncertainty and randomness have a hidden order in it. and if there is an order, how does it work." - Alan
"Chaos in Order!" - Ding Yue (quoting Jun Wei)
Thanks Ding. Talking to you made me feel happier.

Tomorrow, I will be presenting an interesting theorem to my mentor. I feel so excited about it that I cannot sleep. I think I have to count sheep again.
Counting sheep is really difficult, but counting real sheep is impossible. :)

There's only one week left.
The past three weeks have been very exciting, of which the first two were spent in camp sites (namely Bintan Agro resort and NUSHS campus). I did a lot of SRP this week, and it was really enjoyable reading the literature.
Oh, and I need to call the person soon. Is she waiting excitedly? Or is she growing impatient? Does she even care? Or has she buried everything beneath the sands? Is she still the person she used to be? Or is she someone different now? Sometimes, I really wish I could read minds.
Back to SRP! :)

Recently I've been listening to Oldies. I found one that's particularly nice. It's called "Always on My Mind", sung by Elvis Aron Presley (aka "The King")
Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I make you feel second best
Girl, I'm sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You are always on my mind
You are always on my mindVery beautiful lyrics indeed. And of course I haven't forgotten that I wanted to write about a person. Well, I've simply decided not to write anymore! Blame it on probability.
